The market has gone mad.

Perisic looks a good player but 50 million Euros is insane. Pogba is starting to look relatively cheap given some of the figures being banded about for utter dross.

I think Mourinho's list has been shaken up completely now. I think most agreed that Griezmann was previously top of it but £#%&! knows now.

I don't give a shit about the price tbfreddles. Just think it's mental money for a 28 year old, medium top-level player.

Modric went to Madrid for 30m ffs 30m wouldn't get you a lock of his hair now. It's mental.

52 million Euros for Ivan Perisic is £#%&!ing mental, you can be all smart arsed about how it's not my money, it doesn't stop that being a stupid price for a player of Perisic's quality.

Draxler went for 30 million Euros in January for £#%&!s sake.

Are you aware of the premium that United have to pay for players? Or the fact that the transfer market in general has gone completely batshit crazy?

City are dropping near on £35m on a 23 year old goalkeeper with 30 senior appearances to his name.

There's an 18 year old at monaco who will more than likely get sold for upwards of £100m.

There is no logic to any more, the market rate has been driven through the roof for even the half-decent players. To get a good player you'll have to fork over best chunk of £40-50m....to get an elite level player you're going into the 80/90/100m bracket..that's just the way it is now.

You either move with the times, or you end up bringing paul scholes out of retirement.
