Other than spending 500m in 12 months, probably.

Fergie managed to make four of those five shitbags title winners. Every player at this level has the capacity to be both shit and good, someone just needs to get a game out of them, look at Ozil. Mourinho will probably phase them all out, but you can’t just bin everyone and start again. In the interim he needs to coach a proper team out of them. It can be done.

Young and Valencia were a lot younger and played in their natural positions while the other two were squad players at best + we had the likes of Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand, Scholes, younger Carrick, younger Rooney, Nani etc

Totally agree you can't get shot of a squad full straight away, well unless you're LvG...

But that's why Mou needs time to finish the rebuild. No matter how much coaching the likes of the above shits get they'll never be quality players, but Mou has some how managed to get them to the level of second in the league on the back of a season where we won two trophies.

"They are playing some of the best football ever played in the history of the Premier League. I think we're looking at another invincible team this season."

According to the muppets on Sunday supplement City aren't getting the praise they deserve and if it was United playing that way every one would be talking about it....

The stats that make Manchester City a phenomenon:

Transfer spending in the last 9 years.

£1.25 billion

New training complex:

£250 million

Stadium development and expansions:

£150 million

that's without taking into account the absolute king's ransom in wages they've had to fork over to get the likes of Aguero and Toure to stay there for as long as they have.

So there you have it. They are the only stats that matter. You could make Swansea City a 'phenomenon' with near on £2 billion worth of abu dhabi oil money pumped into them in under a decade.

Makes for pretty grim reading. They're brilliant.
One day they might possibly be likened to our great teams, should they win the Champions league and Premier league, but they have a long way to go, they are still way behind Madrid and Barca, possibly ever PSG Now. They are going in the right direction though.
