Want Brazil in that final now for the spectacle.

Prospect of a Brazil-Argentina final or Brazil getting van Gaal'd at the Maracana are both just too good

They'll both get to the final. Something tells me the authorities will be under instructions to make sure this comes about.

IMO the ideal World Cup final is always Europe vs South America

But Brazil-Argentina in the £#%&!ing Maracana would be a one-off

Best scenario possible though is LvG mugging Scolari to win it.

Deutschland - Nederlandsh Final Please, with big Thommy M nicking the win. Van Gaal comes to Manchester freshly buoyant from an excellent campaign no one thought possible, zi Germans wind up south america by winning it in Brazil, everyone's a winner.

No chance Brazil aren't winning tonight though

Can you imagine it.

Going from 1999 Divison 2 Champion to 2014 World Champion

Based on what I've seen so far I can't see either Brazil or Holland winning their games.

Get your money on a Brazil Holland final.

Need the krauts to turn it on tonight. Hope they ruthlessly thump the Brazillian frauds in front of their own.

Going for 3-0 Germany. In reality Brazil will probably scab it 1-0 whilst the Germans have numerous free-kicks and penalty appeals turned down all night and at least one player sent off.

Thumbs up

Hope Brazil get to the final through a mixture of outrageous fortune and shocking refereeing tbh.

World Cup final in the Maracana. I have no idea how people can prefer two European teams contest it, tbh.

David Luiz to captain Brazil tonight. Needs to bring his A game if he's going to embarrass the English press again

Last two World Cup finals have been contested between European teams. Both 0-0/1-1 after 90 mins. One goal* in four hours between them.

Brazil-Argentina was 4-3 a couple of years back.

* from open play

Alves/Maicon-Dante-Luiz-Marcelo

Not a proper defender in sight

Hoping Hernanes might play, but doubt it.

Surely an Argentina - Brazil final with the lad Messi taking the piss in the final is the dream...
