Good day for adidas, sealed the deal with the biggest club in the biggest league in the world and saw their motherland absolutely annihilate nike's baby.

Adidas is primed to sign a 10-year deal to supply Manchester United’s kit that could be worth up to £750m after rival Nike declined to match the German company’s offer.

Months of talks between Nike and the Premier League club to extend its 13-year kit deal ended with a statement from the US company saying the terms on offer “did not represent good value for Nike’s shareholders” and that its relationship would end after next season.

reported all over the place about Nike "dumping" United with little reference that we're likely to have a new world record breaking deal that they couldn't compete with

£#%&!ing seagulls

Is Warrior a tiny company?

It is American isn't it? Asked two yanks if they'd heard of it last night, one had 'vaguely' heard of it "maybe makes lacrosse gear?", and the other had no idea what I was talking about. Both big sports fans.

That must be less than half of what Nike and Adidas generate. Can't see how Warrior were in the running. Maybe they're not. Fingers £#%&!ing crossed.

Between all the Adidas, Chevrolet and AON sponsorship deals Utd will be banking close to £150m a year. How much £#%&!ing longer can the club remain in debt with money like that (not even taking into account Mr Potato) going through the books?
