Thumbs up San Lorenzo vs Arsenal

Unbelievable atmosphere. A win for SL and the title is theirs. Terraces absolutely packed and swaying, millions of flags and banners, etc. Going to be a cracking match.

It looks like there are way too many people in this stadium, and they're still streaming in. They just showed a closeup of the popular area and people are climbing all over each other in there.

Boca have won today, so San Lorenzo can't afford a slip up.

San Lorenzo just came onto the pitch to a welcome that sent shivers down my spine. Smoke bombs, fireworks, flags, confetti, streamers. And you should hear it!

I've been a River Plate fan for decades. I got turned on to it during the 78 World Cup. Seeing that confetti shower during the Final did my little head in.

I presume you get good coverage over in the states? I never watched south American football over there but it was always on when flicking through the channels.

Yes, between the Spanish channels and Fox we get a few live games every week, and always the top clashes.

1-0 San Lorenzo, place going beserk.

20 minutes until a huge party. San Lorenzo fans behind the goal already starting with the bottle rockets. But I wouldn't be surprised of they conceded another and made it a tight finish.

Congrats to San Lorenzo de Almagro, Champions of Torneo Clausura 2007.

You don't get long to celebrate in Argentina. Estudiantes were just celebrating their title in December.

Why do they have two Championships in SA? Surely, it'd make more sense to combine the results from the Opening & Closing to decide the winners?

Congrats to San Lorenzo
