My, what a selective memory you have.

Ronaldo, ironically, was up for the fight. RVN was in flight.

Great player. Between 2001 and 2003 I wouldn't have swapped him for anyone. But I was delighted to see him go.

He's a great goalscorer but his style of play made United dull as dishwater for about 3 years.

Totally right.I adored Ruud.Fell out with lads that slated him far too early and far too often.

And then I hear his comments directed at getting Ronaldo to leave United. The @#%&!.

5 seasons averaging 30 goals per season.

Arguably our greatest ever striker (usually Law or him when people compare)

Definite legend.

Move was right for both parties but I £#%&!ing loved the guy, I wish all players looked as happy as he used to when he scored.

I'd rather have Rooney and Ronaldo in the team than van Nistelrooy any day

great for two years but he's not a United legend and his attitude last year stunk

It's not all about numbers you know.

And that second statement is such a joke I don't know where to start.

Took alot of bottle, that did. I could barely stand for nerves as he lined up to take it.

Was more about personal redemption on his part though. He also put a nice little stud-rake on Ashley Cole that game... which was nice.

I loved Ruud whilst he was at united. He is undoubtedly a great, great striker. He obviously fell out of love with United at some point. At least he bothered to find out what we were all about in the first place.

What will be really telling, is how well he plays next season, without Beckham providing the ammunition. They make a great combination, not so sure he'll manage without those deliveries from Becks.

If Real win it and Ruud finishes with the golden boot then United get 2 million don't they? Still if you want top post stupid shite about uniteds second best goalscorer of all time I suppose you not that likely to know anything are you?
