well done ruud, showed he still had it when I thought he lost it....I have always said that spanish defences are pathetic though.
his success just makes me wish we had sold him for more. |

People shouldn't have any regrets about his sale, including the price.
Its been a joy to watch us this season. The fluidity & pace about some goals has been brilliant. I wonder how much we could have got though had we sold him a season earlier. |

Great goalscorer for us.
He was the main reson for us not winning more though.His last two seasons for us, he was dreadful. And the less I say about his 'Ronaldo should come to Madrid' @#%&!ishness, the better. |

Some one of Ruud's ability was always going to tear that league apart. If Diego and Savo Milosevic can win the golden boot there was certainly no reason why Ruud couldn't.

He couldn't be arsed for us last season, which leaves a very nasty taste.
His bullying of Ronaldo shows the type of man he is... as did him shitting it from Keown. Great player. Between 2001 and 2003 I wouldn't have swapped him for anyone. But I was delighted to see him go. |
