The group stages have become an utter bore simply because of the stupid seeding system. You end up with groups like Leicester's which looks about as appealing as a dog shit sandwich. The heady days of having the likes Barca, United and Bayern in the same group are long gone. So far gone that when gimps like City draw one decent team in their group their fans decry it as a £#%&!ing conspiracy. Yes! It's a conspiracy to draw a champion club in the champions league. That's how much a shit show the group stages have become.

All absolute fact. Shit competition until March. Usually shit then too these days.

Even the 2 group stage farce was better than the current set up.
