Ridiculous numbers

Dortmund CEO said they won't sell as they've already lost 2 big players this summer and can't afford to lose another
They will make him see how the final year of his contract just like with Lewandowski

Can't see this happening but hope I'm wrong

As Saffers suggested. Played more off the right last season. Shinji more the central man for them.

He'd looked shot in terms of confidence under Klopp.

Already have his replacement in Dembele.

I said I'd be surprised if they let him go after losing Hummels and Gundongen, and sources still reckon there is a deal in the offing for Aubamayang to City. Losing 4 players like that would kill them.

£19m bid reported to have been made

https://www.theguardian.com/football...P=share_btn_tw

This isn't like Lewandowski where he insisted on Bayern, hope they see sense and realise getting big money for him now from a team abroad makes more sense than him going for free

£19million for a 27 year old that scored 21 goals and assisted 30 odd last season.

See Woody's learnt the sum of £#%&! all about negotiating transfers.

People seem to be under the impression that Dortmund care about letting players' contracts run down. They don't.

When Bayern are the team 'waiting' they do care a little less, but every team has a business model and letting players go for free wouldn't be in it.

I think the lad really wanting out might help. Did with Shinji. You'd think they'd be amenable to dealing with us after the whole Shniji thing.

I like Valencia's reaction to the goal.

Turns round to jog back to his position, no time for £#%&!ing about

"Come on lads, we've a cup final to win"

'We have been negotiating with Henrikh Mkhitaryan for four months for him to extend his contract with us. Now we know that it is not extended, it was never our commitment that Mkhitaryan may leave us prematurely. We have intensely discussed the question of an early transfer in all club bodies and came to the conclusion that Mkhitaryan will stay in Dortmund next season.'

aka

we tried to make him sign a contract extension, he refused and is therefore obviously staying

Bid 40m euros, tell them it's a final offer and if they reject it we'll just go ahead and sort out a pre-contract to get him for free next year.
