Woeful defending. What was Arbeloa doing? He saw him about to make the run...

That goal reminded me of Rio at Anfield when Torres scored.

He's played well, but both goals have been the result of shite defending.

Madrid need serious surgery at the back. Imagine if they spent £30m on a centre-back instead of Benzema. Even someone like Agger would be an upgrade for them.

Real have been the same for a few years now though, loads of talent up front and a defence like tissue paper

They have spent a fair whack on the likes of pepe, garay, albiol, ramos etc

Garay is £#%&! imo.

Tbf, I'd almost forgotten about Pepe who is a top player when his head is screwed on.

I didn't say any of them were good, just that they've spent money on them.

Marca (I think) had a story recently suggesting Madrid were going to swap Benzema for Vidic.

Tbh, from what I've seen tonight they could £#%&!ing do with him a few others.

Bloody awful in defence.

This is only the third time I have watched Ronaldo at Madrid, and I have to say he does not look like a player who is at his dream club. He looks almost disinterested, lacking the fire and drive that is so much part of him at his best.

Odd game, barca playing within themselves, had 2 chances, scored 2 and Madrid have wasted several half chances.

That's a lot for Spanish games.

There's no away fan culture, even at derbies (with the exception of Seville derbies, where you'll get 2-3,000)

Edit - 400 hundred? Isn't that 40,000?

I didn't say you did, just giving my opinion.

Xavi is a magnificent player, combines incredible ability to retain possession with a peerless ability to pick out creative passes.

Almost impossible to close down, so quick on the turn, and has such composure and imagination.

The fact that Barca also have Iniesta is almost unfair.

Well, if Polish commentators are anything like our own, it should make watching the match a much more pleasurable experience
