from t'other thread

but bears repeating. if you can't enjoy this, what can you enjoy? don't answer that

Thumbs up Re: OFFICIAL: United v Bayern Munich thread. (Teams, links + doom)

Thanks for starting this Thread Sparky.
I was begining to worry my Thread (which I made perfectly clear was unofficial) might end up as the Match Day Thread by accident.
Didn't want to jinx anything.

£#%&!ing insane team news
Wazza was supposed to be out for anything between 2 & 4 weeks....yet here he is starting tonight. Something's not quite right somewhere.
Either it was a WUM all along or Wayne's playinig through the pain.

Fingers crossed the Gibdog plays well, but his inclusion is a £#%&!ing shock & a half.

Van Gaal:

Quote:
"We have already beaten Manchester United with Wayne Rooney anyway, so it does not matter to us whether he plays or not. And anyway we don't have to win the game, we only need a draw. But United are still the favourites to go through."
Hope Fergie nuts him.

These are the games I do enjoy. Its more exciting than being 4-0 up from the first leg. Games like this are why its ace being a united fan.

I think football reporters haven't caught up to the technology involved in rehabbing injuries like this. Probably, tbf, because managers don't tell them anything. They've got these boots now that mobilize the joint and have a series of flexible tubes running through them, through which water just above freezing is pumped. They automatically adjust the temperature and pressure on the joint to quickly eliminate swelling, which, in the absence of an actual tear, is all there really is to a sprain anyway.

So chances are, they got the swelling down quickly, and there's not much more to it.
