Re: Can we slag off Berbatov yet?
I have stuck up for him through everything so far in his united career, but the last 10 days have changed my mind.
Its just the way he behaves like a 10 year kid everytime he misses a chance, after that miss with 10 minutes to go, a rooney like character would of been determined to create himself another chance to change his error, but berbatov, his head drops and starts throwin tantrums which doesnt help the team. On another note, why the £#%&! o'shea lasted 80 minutes with his constant giving the ball away is way beyond me! |

Re: Can we slag off Berbatov yet?
There was a saying in the film Tin Cup where Costner says:
'You either define the moment or let the moment define you' Well the last two weeks has been a defining moment in berbatov's career here at united, he could of grasp it and prove all doubters wrong that he is quality. But he hasn't, the moment took over and swallowed him up, just like veron, forlan and countless others here. He's not a big game player, never has or will be and every game for united is a big game. I can't personally think other then the last minute goal at middlesborough last year when he has ever risen to the moment to win us a match or salvage one. Look at fletcher and how he rose to the challange to become one of our best players, he could of just drifted away to become a mid table player for a birmingham or someone. Same can be said for Nani too.The guy is now mentally screwed same as what happened to veron, just take as much as we can get, pat him on the back and thank him, the guy loves the club and the mangement but he just hasn't got it. Time for other players to come in and have a go, i'm sure there are a few out there that would love the chance. We could do with out his wages on the books |
