we scored 4 goals today ffs. Up front wasn't the £#%&!ing problem.

I though he played well today, won plenty of headers against the twin towers the blushit had at the back.

none, denis. he had no part in any. zero. he was actually picking his nose by the corner flag as fletcher got his second, only noticed because fletcher jiggled his arm as he went past celebrating.

At his age, he should be running our front line. He should be the talisman creating everything. He does it on far too rare an occasion to warrant a starting place imho. If we'd got him on a free from Newcastle, no one would be arsed if he was dropped.

Rio's distribution to him first half was appalling. He kept making some very clever runs and Rio would simply belt the ball out for a goal kick.

A very bad day at the office for Rio, lacked match sharpness and fitness. I'd be tempted to play him midweek if he's over his injuries.

well he cleared one off the line for them from Giggs free kick so i guess he did contribute

He's pretty much been one of our best players this season, to date. He hasn't scored enough - that criticism is fair but the notion that he's not good enough/been shite etc is a load of %@#$&!s IMO.

I'll be honest I think what you've said is %@#$&!s too but I have no interest in continuing this sort of discussion. Life's too short and I need a poo. Safe to say I'm comfortable with him in the starting XI and pleased with his shifts this season.

So we've won, everything's alright then is it? What about when we play a better team. We won by the narrowest of margins today against an average team with their best player out.
