Contract up next year, tick.

Club with more money than sense who he can use to get a better deal, tick.

Sounds like the berts have taken over from us as the agents club of choice to get a pay rise for their client

Cba with hummels. He'd be annihilated in this united side with his snail pace, soft attitude and lapses in concentration.

Don't reckon he'd be a success in England anyway, seems awfully sluggish whenever I've seen him.

Slow and injury-prone, you're right he'll likely struggle here.

First time he's had to come in and build a team. His jobs thus far involved him walking in to the best and third best squads in world football respectively. City aren't even in the top 3 squads in England and they are old as £#%&!.

I'm sure the bzillion pounds they'll spend will help the process along.

And Sahko's fat burners.

What did you make of Stones yesterday Throb? He has a lot to learn defensively, Martinez can not be helping him there, but I was very impressed with his ball playing ability in the second half, initiated a lot of their attacks.

I'm sure it will. But the point that Pep will have to do something he has had no real experience of previously remains valid.

i'd take him in a heartbeat to play alongside blind... have visions of mensah turning into a lothar matthaus type and the 3 of them forming a great triangle in front of de gea, taking it in turns to advance up the pitch
