Alexander Hershaw Parker (2 August 1935 – 7 January 2010) was a Scottish football player and manager who played for Falkirk, Everton and Scotland, amongst others. Parker was named in Falkirk's Team of the Millennium and Everton's Hall of Fame.

Was that the reason for the applause. Tbh I'm still pissed off that United could not do that for Albert Scanlon.

Instead of at half time "oh by the way Albert Scanlon who used to play for United died recently. Anyway what do you all think of the ball juggler from the USA ? "
