Not sure how that works given they are outside of UEFA...

To be fair I'd Love South American teams involved. Playing Boca and River.

Gotta be better than Sevilla every year.

Not sure how that's a valid argument for having Saudi teams in, given Israel is in Uefa.

I reckon they should have their own version of the Champions League, and the winners of that compete against the winners of the main club prize from each continental football federation.

They could call it the Club World Cup or something.

Very dangerous route for UEFA to go down as it blows apart Federations and opens the door for a Club Super League outside of their control.

I’d say there are already more than enough nails in the coffin. But yeah, with each new low it becomes easier to just let go of it completely. Does anyone actually still recognise it as the sport they fell in love with?

This. I don't agree with it, but its too far gone now. Bring on the World Super League for the big clubs and let the rest carry on as normal.

I'm sure Dundee United and Villa etc would prefer to be legitimately fighting for their domestic titles every season than knowing they've got no chance as things currently stand.

See what direction the Club World Cup goes in.

Expansion from 2025.

I think you underestimate how much will happen in 50 years. 50 years ago forest won back to back champions leagues, the population of dubai was 30,000 and etc etc
