Football De Bryune - out for a few months

Surgery required on his hamstring, that's a proper bad 'un

Huge blow to City, might level the league up a bit.

city are cooked if they don’t sign anyone they are finished

it’s gonna be arsenal and Liverpool fighting for th title

I’d say Chelsea haven’t got enough goals in their team but will challenge for top4.

we will be in full crisis mode by November if we don’t sign anyone.

Emphasis on the might

They'll go & spend £100m on Paqueta now - which is insane. How did West Ham have a £210m midfield last season & look so £#%&!ing shit?

Either way, any side will suffer losing the best player the league has had over the last 4-5 seasons. He's demoralisingly good. Or was. Now seems knacked which is a shame for him but potentially good news for the rest of us who are trying to catch up.

It’s good news for Arsenal and Newcastle. United won’t be anywhere near City regardless.

Premier league teams are all so flush now that West Ham don’t need to sell players any more. That’s why they all cost stilly money

don't rate them but they have experience and that first half blitz they do will win them enough games.
against Chelsea they should have been 2/3-0 up in the first 30 minutes. if they do that thats enough.

personally while the league has got better, a decent run and you can challenge this season.

So why can Newcastle challenge but we can’t?

We’ve spend similar money?

And our squad was better than there’s before Eddie Howe took over?

Because they don't play naive, stupid football the way we do. Simple as that.

alternatively, they bought tonali for the same price we bought mount. scored on his debut, you know? the sign of a good player.

we could have had amrabat and pavard for similar money, of course.

still... someone woke up one morning and thought mount was the answer.

this post is not negative about mount.

also, newcastle will not be challenging for the title.

And yet they finished behind us last season, and lost in a cup final to us.
