Default So Berbatov to United rumours abound.

Spurs apparantly bidding for Villa make him dispensible. Surely we'd be better off with Villa?

Certainly not. He's another manicured mard arse.

Much prefer Berbatov.

Berbatov is misunderstood... he'd find his spiritual home at Old Trafford.

Berbatov would be a revelation for us. We have to sign him.

Really, he only actually bothers in about half his games though and doesn't really like to play up front. I think Villa would get a £#%&!ing hatful for us.

If Berbatov signs I think the club should contact me, so I can advise them about how to make feel at home. Having lived with a Bulgarian for a couple of years in Alderley Edge, then Wilmslow, surely there is no one better suited to the job than big Barry T.

(as a footnote I met with the United director responsible for all club property, including the houses that they both own and rent for new players. He told me they forbid the new players from changing their own light bulbs).

He did want Dennis Irwin though so he was semi-sane

neither for me.

Think Villa is harder worker and would fit in well with our team attitude.

There is no doubting Berbatov is capable of great class but i just have a bad feeling about it.

Berbatov goes missing against the good teams. But then again we're well used to that with he who shall not be named.

Berbatov>Villa in terms of for United atm.

We don't need a player like Villa while we have Tev and Roo.

Berby will fit nicely with either of these 2 or even as a 3 if the inevitable happens.

I don't really see a connection between Rooney/Tevez and Villa? OK he's similar in height but he prefers to play further forward doesn't he? He's also a tremendous out and out goalscorer. anyway, seems Berbatov's more likely if these rumours have any basis.

Are you sure?

Seem to recall him having a blinder against us last season, and also playing well against Arsenal and Chelsea.

Fergie's already hinted it'll be a tall striker. Rules Villa out.

Can Berbatov actually play up front though? Always seems more comfrtable "dropping off" like our other strikers to me.

Utd don't really have a rigid formation so I think he'd do fine.
