He was. Form fell off terribly. He'll still be an improvement over Green, although there's the whole thing about settling in a new league/country. Strange signing tho. Green was good enough for them.

Julio Cesar got very fat didn't he?

Green had a nightmare in his first game and shipped 5, it could be a panic buy.

In fairness to cesar dont think he had much of a choice.

Inter signed Handanovic so he was never going to get his place this year.

at least he won't be given a list of how many goals he has to throw in and what minutes he has to do it in now.

World Cup in SA killed him, it seems. Terrible mistake (vs Holland, was it?) and hasn't been the same since. Although it could just be another player suffering without the Mourinho factor

Incidentally, Mourinho has said Carvalho is no longer of any interest to him, so needs to decide whether to move or see out his deal on the bench. One of his former favourites, too. Ruthless stuff from Big Mou.

Unless he's playing against Mr. Ferguson's 'Man Ure' of course.

Solid enough player Granners.

Weird seeing Park, Granero, Julio Cesar(still only 32), Carvalho, Bosingwa all busting a gut to play for Sparky in that shitty little stadium and shit training ground considering the excellent facilities they're used to.

Have QPR upgraded their facilities or are they just matching the wages of these big names?

Yeah, the World Cup was the first wobble, which is strange as it came on the heels of winning the Champions League, which Inter wouldn't have done without his brilliance. Then in Inter's defense of their Champions League title the following season, he made mistakes in almost every game. Some terrible ones. I remember after one, he told the press he walked all the way home from the San Siro because he felt he didn't deserve to drive.

Cesar was involved in a car crash and his form afterwards started to drop by his own admission because of this accident.

Pretty sure he missed one training session because of this. It was after the World Cup, too. Jose was annoyed by it though, so that may have had an effect.

Surely the owners have to question the manager though about this.
Hughes: 'I want to sign Cesar'
Owners: 'We've just signed Green haven't we?'
Hughes: 'Yeah but he's shit'
Owners: 'Erm....okay'

Stephane mbia now.

All joking aside, if they keep this shit up its only a matter of time before we are looking at them as potential challengers for the league. its a £#%&!ig joke.

And just like everyone else said about city, "they wont challenge" "players wont go there" etc etc its going to be another case of i told you so.
