Can't be many OT nights since that compare - Blackburn in 1993 possibly?

I'm trying to think of better atmospheres at OT. Liverpool 89. Middlesbrough in the league cup that time. Sheff Wed in 93. Liverpool in the cup 99. Can't think of any in the last 20 years tbh. What have I forgotten? As young as I was I dunno if that Barca game can be bettered.

Carried off after 90 mins. Mayhem. Straight into an interview.

10 years old. Main stand. My dad getting offered a fortune for his tickets all the way down Warwick Rd. Bricking it before the final whistle whenever they had the ball. Amazing night.

For me

Sheffield Weds. 93 (last five minutes. I was in the Stretford End). Knew that day it was ON.

Middlesbrough. LC semi final 2nd leg 91-92. In the Stretford End again it was absolutely rocking.

Once standing went it never quite felt the same to me. Coming up to the ground and hear some singing before kick off was such a buzz.

Enjoyed the “afterglow” but for me the atmosphere was too tense rather than celebratory.....that last 10 minutes seemed to go on forever

The 5-0 against city is one that’s sticks in my mind but my favourite memory was the league cup semi against Boro. We used to climb over a fence at the back of the Stretford End that was a short to where we parked. And I remember being stood on the top looking back at this sea of red and Que Sera echoing and deafening.
