Can't understand how Abramovich has so much money - he looks like a complete dime bar and acts like one as well. He's turned managing Chelsea into an English version of Real Madrid, win everything or you're out - stupid @#%&!.

Ancelotti seems like a decent bloke and obviously knows his stuff, but I'd have a lot more sympathy for him if he hadn't managed to £#%&! up a 3-0 half time lead in the 2005 CL final.

He's stained forever after that.

wikipedia has to be careful what they put so it's always a sanitised version that can't lead to prosecution. even so...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Abramovich

his real source of wealth is the same as the rest of the oligarchs: connections to ex-kgb, connections to the current regime, mock privatisations and organised crime. most of all, a willingness to listen and obey. his wealth is only his own as long as he is obedient - paying for things that need paying for, supporting the right people, acting effectively as a holding company for stolen money and property. the moment he stops doing what he's told he'll end up like khodorkovsky.

True dat, Putin (the worlds richest man if reports are to be believed) told him and a couple of others they've got to stump up a billion each to pay for stadiums for the world cup

Van Basten wants the job.

Isn't he the current Pakistani national manager? Bit of a step down if you ask me.

What really puzzles me is that there's only Arsenal who have looked at the main reason for our success and tried to implement the same ethos. They've took it too far, granted but Chelsea etc are £#%&!ing clueless!!

Take Ranieri for example, I think we're all agreed that he was good enough to have done what the managers since have achieved, so had they stuck with him they'd 1. Be no worse off and 2. With continuity be in a much stronger position. (imo)
Ranieri had £#%&! all balls. Wouldnt have won the league if he was allowed to hand pick 25 players.

Juve would have been a decent move for him. Looks like they're going with Conte for next season though.

Officially so he had a chance to say goodbye to all the players on the flight home, as they're all off on their hollyers

For some bizarre reason the exceedingly cool Marcello Lippi has declared his interest in managing those classless @#%&!s.

Probably end up getting sacked in the West Brom car park some time in 2012.
