Clearly the fault of City stewards and the police for not ensuring proper security in place. No doubt the relentlessly innocent Liverpool fans will be escape goated for it though.

It was a political statement. An ironic commentary on how City fans are happy for their owners to throw money about, but take offence at other people doing it. An attack on capitalist greed.

A wonderful piece of performance art, bristling with political nuance. A stirring social comment on where fault invariably lies, and how blame is, in the same manner, apportioned to the innocent.

60/40 on rawk. Most are disgusted, others are saying its fair game for the chanting directed towards them.

And then there is the usual mental 10% who say this was all concocted by City who knew this would happen by putting the dippers in the upper tier stands, hoping the fallout would detract from their CORRUPT regime.

The city fans that sit either side of the away end spend most of the game squaring up to away fans behind about 3 stewards. Every time I’ve been in the away end there some nearby gas been coined.

It’s not right but it’s probably not one sided.
