That's the difference.

We and others get an injury, we and others have to reshuffle.
They get an injury and they go throw 60 million at it.

Other than that, not arsed

That will be about 270-280 million in one season.

Not far off their total revenue never mind profits.

Would be like us spending 400-500 million.

Guardiola a genius

Don't rate him. Was hoping the scouse would blow their wad on him.

City have the most expensive right back in football history, most expensive left back in football history and if this story is true, the most expensive centre back in football history.

None of them are anywhere near the best in the world their positions btw.

They would have the two most expensive central defenders as they bought stones for 50 million.

Bought Mangala for about 40 million so possibly the three most expensive.

The problem is they're all competent enough to do enough while the front 6 score 4 or 5 every game.

FFS forgot about those clowns , funny thing is most of these guys they are breaking records for are average.

Gonna be finished once silva gets old and de bruyne decides to play for a real football club and not plastic outfits like Chelsea, City and Wolfsburg.

Must be nearing if not breaking £500m in the space of 18 months now for Pep el Fraudiola.

If this goes through I think it makes it about £540m

£540m in 18 months into a squad that already was the most expensively assembled in football history. With that spend it'd take a genius to win a league title in a league where Leicester won it the season before he came.

If he’s such a top manager then why doesn’t he coach Mangala

You're not getting how this works are you.

Guardiola couldn't possibly be expected to coach the likes of Kolarov, Zabaleta, Hart, Navas, Fernando or Nolito. So what he had to do, you see, was get rid of all of them and then just buy half a billion's worth of players.

Jose on the other hand should £#%&!ing well coach Jones and Smalling into being top class centre backs and not a pair of error prone clowns. He should coach all of the rubbish players Van Gaal bought into being world class and do it without half the players he bought himself who are injured or suspended all the time.

So whilst Jose won two trophies with a far inferior squad, that's all forgotten about because his nemesis can buy whoever he wants whenever he wants.
