Permanent reminder that their main man wanted out a week after winning the league. For not getting a birthday party.

This could genuinely only happen to City. Even when they win the league they're a worldwide laughing stock.

They win the title and within days it's overshadowed by their best player wanting out because nobody said happy birthday to him.

If he leaves we should use their shit Yaya/Kolo chant:

Watching City fans squirm about this had been very amusing over the last day or 2.

"His twitter has been hacked"..."his agent is on a wind up"..."false quotes"..."this is what happens when you're a big club, the press make stuff up to sell papers."

Yeah, alright lads.

It's actually beautiful how nobody gives a shit about their by default title win, just over a week from it happening.

Can you imagine if the Dippers had won it? The teary eyed poems would still be written as we speak, not by rawk weirdoes but by the likes of henry winter and ian herbert.

What's the buzz about playing at the Emptyhead with a quarter of blue seats on display? Man City - nobody cares.
Abu Dhabi must be realising around now that they've been sold a pup. Probably expected to spend a billion and awaken what they were told was a sleeping giant with an explosion of interest and excitement from city's dormant massive support, given they would have been told city are the real manchester club and all that.

2 titles in and playing exciting football, they probably expected genuine sponsorship and worldwide interest around the level united get.

Thank £#%&! for Liverpool and city. They make supporting united even better. We couldn't have made up better rivals.

Every day I'm amazed at how much the football world has realigned itself back to its natural order since moyes was sacked. That 10 months was like experiencing a weird parallel universe.

Yep.

Shame that Arsenal couldn't also lose the cup final (though they tried their best) but you can't have everything

Meh, I happen to think that Wenger has taken some unnecessary stick from various media snide @#%&!s. I was pleased that he got to poke the shithouses in the eye

I'll let them have that one
