Had a whinge about VAR earlier. It’s pointless. Every single decision affects the game to some degree. Stupid freekicks given/not given in other areas of the pitch are scrutinised by VAR in the penalty area. Any free kick in the attacking third could lead to a goal, so surely every decision is equally important. Similar with the yellow card thing. He misses the next game now, that could be massive, and it’s a %@#$&!s yellow. Either put it all on the ref or referee everything from a video screen with 1000 angles and replays.

Quite possibly , I was watching the womens cricket international the other day, they mentioned the 17 year old who has been playing has to have her mum in the team whatsapp group.
