Default if this heinze to loserpool is true

where will they play him? surely not centre half. so left-back? would you play gabby ahead of riise? i've always rated riise tbh, and i can't see gabby getting his place, and i certainly can't see gabby swapping the utd bench for a scouse bench. seems like a very strange move.

That's right, if he doesn't get an offer from Spain, he should be content to be second choice at United.

The interest is most definitely there, Liverpool are desperate for a left back. After Risse the backup is just completely shite - but there is no way on Gods green earth it will happen. No way dagnabit.

I just can't see it happening in anyway shape or form.

I think he'll almost certainly go abroad.

I think this is the biggest non story since The Sun said that Sunderland were after Scholes for £2m.

Exactly.

This love isn't unconditional, Gabby.

DON'T do it.

I don't think anyone could possibe imagine such a scenario after his first season.

Ince going there with another move sandwiched between was bad enough. The very idea of the clubs even doing business makes my skin crawl.

I still think it's bullshit, however.

Well, not exactly. He was bigging up a move abroad and didn't mention Liverpool.

I guess that could be construed as indirectly ruling it out. All his qoutes have been accompanied by his insistance that he's focussed on Copa America so the press are really fishing for this one (so what's new?)

News to me.

I haven't read anythiing attributed to him, but have read his agent has invited Liverpool to make an offer.

I wouldn't give that much of a shit if it happened anyway. He won't even be a first teamer - And if he does go there, its a massive indication that we are funding a move for a striker.

The way I see it, we'll only accept if it's a great deal, a firm offer will probably bring other teams out of the woodwork, and it'll add some extra spice to our games against the vermin if it did happen.

What is this mythical amazing first season he had? This is the moron United fans coming to the fore, the type who think 'Smithy' is a United legend because he broke his leg. Heinze looked like a good lad and got stuck in - well done - then most people realised he was pretty average going forward, couldn't cross and was woeful positionally in defence. Evra became first choice.

I'd rather he stayed, but can live without him - if he goes to the scousers then he's just another mercenary whose contribution in the grand scheme of things is minimal.
