Disappointing that Tuanzebe is injured

One of the few games he probably had a chance of starting or at least playing a significant part in

The most important thing that could come out of this game is the performance of Shaw

That left back slot is the clear weak link in the side and has been ever since Shaw broke his leg

If and it's a big if Shaw can get back to his best then what difference that could make

You should probably concentrate on getting the scorer/time thread up before 7.55pm.

Has Jose confirmed he'll start?

Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't.

Darmian and Young in full back areas.

Wouldn't surprise me either, I think hes played 3 u23 games now so really needs a run out. If he doesn't play a part tonight id start to think its curtains for him.

I was hoping they had a good chat in the summer and Jose told him he wont be signing a lb because that's Shaws position to nail down. but there is clearly something going on in the background we are no privy too.

I really hope he gets a run out tonight.

I doubt it's about attitude. Shaw has spoken publicly about how he's willing to work and admitted his errors. Seems to 'get it'.

I'd say the bigger issue, given Jose's comments about him last season, is his ability to follow instructions and be the player mourinho wants him to be. Seems like he needs his hand holding through everything. He just doesn't seem to fancy him and I'm less optimistic with each absent month that he'll turn it round.
