Ok, but what about Vida's form?

That was always on the cards.

Shouldn't be too big a miss. Bit early, but:

-------------VDS-----------

O'Shea---Evans--Vida---Evra*

Ronaldo---Carrick--Fletcher--Park

----Tevez-----Rooney--------

Sorted.

*This man needs a £#%&!in' performance. At fault AGAIN yesterday. For all the shit O'Shea gets, he hasn't been at fault for as many goals all season as Evra has in the last three or four matches.

our entire defence has looked shaky and more so when rio doesn't play

i don't think never having the same midfield in front of them 2 games on the bounce helps though

Don't really agree with that. Vidic had a bad game against Liverpool but other than that can't recall his last shaky performance. In the games Rio missed, Vidic and Evans were solid.

Not overly worried seeing as Vidic and Evans have shown they make a superb pairing anyway. At the risk of sounding complacent, if it were our last round opponents id be more adverse to the news. Id rather have a fully fit non risked Rio for Sat afternoon.

Scary but true. Especially from a player many on here said was better than Irwin. He needs to buck up,

Some mistakes are forgiveable, some just stink of a lack of effort. Sleeping for Liverpool's penalty at OT. Half arsed challenge on Barry for Villa's first yesterday. Didn't even bother to move or anything for Agbonlahor goal.

Completely unacceptable. I'm not criticising for the sake of it, we all know he's one of the best full backs in the world, but the nature and number of his mistakes recently surely put his place in jeopardy.

Get switched on, Paddy. It's £#%&!in' business time of the season.

Thought the first goal was Evans mistake, got far too tight to Barry and should of shown him onto his weaker foot.

Evra made a vital interception in the second half when it was 2-1, but he's lacking a little bit of form which is not like him but he'll be fine.

In other news only 16 players trained today:

Van der sar, Foster, Kuszczak, Amos; Vidic, Eckersley, Fabio, Corry Evans; Scholes, Park, Tosic, Martin, Gibson; Rooney, Macheda, Welbeck.

Fergie's already said scholes will start and that'l give us more " penetration "

minus Fletcher no doubt ( undeserved )
