Good team that Jez. I'd probably go for Zidane in place of Nedved, which means pretending Irwin is Northern Irish to replace Thuram. Arguably makes it a stronger side.

Good idea to limit the team to one player per country to,avoid ending up with a team of Spaniards.

Was it really necessary though given you didn't even pick one?

Can't think of a player who deserves it tbf.

Xavi or Iniestsa are the only 2 who come close but I think Nedved and Ballack were better.

Fair point Switchers, I was thinking Zidane should be in there.

Replace Nedved with ZZ and I'd put Lahm instead of Thuram and put Xavi instead of Ballack.

Excellent calls there. Hierro was excellent at his peak and Mattheus and Schevchenko are good calls. So many good players (although I will always see Lothar as a midfielder tbf)
