Barca is NOT a foregone conclusion

at all... we will have two very hard games this next week.

Read in the express this morning that Fergus is going to maybe put a man marker (Hargo) on Messi... I hope we play more to our strengths than trying to contain them. It never seems to work.

does anyone think it IS a foregone conclusion?

I have a bad feeling about this tie. SAF will be overcautious, that will get into the players minds too. Barca will score two early goals, and we're all going to die.

Did Fergie actually say that though, his quotes? I think we'll find an attacker (Rooney) being asked to drop into midfield to help out but that'll be it. Pointless man marking Messi anyway, it's Xavi that makes them tick. You need to stop the supply.

to be fair, we had people proclaiming we had won the league a few days ago, "champions again", "it's ours"....

so there will be some giddies who believe it IS a foregone conclusion... i think fergie is going to £#%&! it up tactics wise, iagainst barca... but to be honest, after blackburn, i'm far more concerned about the premier league...
