Default Eto'o could be leaving Barca

I love this quote

""But in Spain my cycle has finished. I have touched the ceiling in Barcelona, so if I leave I will go abroad. I will go to whoever pays the most."

You've got to admire his honesty

Brilliant stuff. Nothing like a bit of deadpan honesty.

Mourinho to Barca, goodbye Eto'o.

Rijkaard to Chelsea, hello Eto'o.

So, Chelsea then.

Quality player, bit of a sick note in the last two seasons with months & months off at a go.

Barca should be minted this Summer, Ronaldinho off, Eto'o off... wonder who they'll be linked with...every...£#%&!ing...week...

Honest or not, he's a @#%&! and I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.
Thankfully we generally stay clear of players who's prime motivation is money.

He'll fit right in at Chelsea.

Eto'o is more in the mould of Rooney than any other player in Spain with what he brings to a squad, as well as goals he drives the team forward with his total will to win and he would be a great addition to Chelsea or any other club for that matter. For me he is the first truely world class player to come from Africa but he is also a bit of a #@&%!.

The Marca transcript of that quote doesn't contain the end bit about going to whoever pays the most. Funny that.

United would probably dominate the Premiership and maybe Europe for the next few years if we had Eto'o.

He's said he'll move at the end of next season if Barca dont win anything.

Yep.

They asked him if he was thinking about moving.

"If next year we continue like this. I want to win titles and if I can't do it here I will do it at another club. I've finished my cycle in Spain. I have touched the ceiling with Barca so if I go it will be abroad."

That's where the quote ends.
