I'm far from one who will hurl abuse at them but we all have to be realistic. There comes a time to let the past go. This is about United, not the people who represent the club. Yes we love the players but ultimately it's the CLUB we all adore. If players are past their best it's time to cut them free. Sad but true.

Giggs should never, ever put on a United shirt again.

The thought he should take away a true legend of United's record is ridiculous.

Ryan, you were brilliant in your prime, but now, you're a joke.

It's ok to to have a moan but not blame him because he can't get onto someone elses crap ball, or if his through ball doesnt get past 7 men. ffs

Some people can be right @#%&!s and only see what they want. No joke it's mostly the cockneys that do it aswell.
To be fair, if you knew £#%&! all about Ryan Giggs and you went to the match or into a pub full of reds , you'd think his full name was £#%&!ing Hell Giggs

If it was just the lack of pace I'd be able to understand, but he has lost the ability to pass and he also pulls out of any 50-50 challenges. My dad realiably informs me that Charlton was also a chicken in his later days.

I won't be surprised if giggs gets 5-10 mins here and there in every match of the season so that he gets the record this season and he can move on.

One thing is for sure. fergie will make sure that giggs gets the record.

I am not saying we should feel sorry for any player past there best what i am saying is we should show the player respect and some class.

I wouldn't call him a @#%&!, but he just isn't good enough.

He's always in the press saying shite like "when I'm not up to it anymore I'll call it a day".

He can't seriously think he's still up to it.

Fergie only subs people off at half time if they are shockingly poor. Normally he gives them 15/20 minutes in the second half to step it up before subbing them.

I know as I've watched United for 20 years.

Check the records, Fergie very rarely makes a sub before 60 minutes, unless forced by injuries.

To be subbed at half-time you need to be having a shocker. Fact.
