Great news

Love that picture next to the story with the caption - Ferguson: Celebrating tying down trio to new deals

I'd love it if he did that and pulled that face when he heard the news

Looks like he's saying 'Jurassic Park!'

cant understand the wes deal tbh.

he is a squad defender and will never be good enough to be our permanent rb so why pay him so much?

why do you bother putting "I don't understand..." at the start of your football posts?

Cannot understand it either. I sense it is probably a covert operation launched by the Stooges- sign wes up and we don't need a new right back. Also, cash in on Pique as he is likely to want to go after his direct competition for a place signs a new long term deal given opportunities have been limited anyway. Not gutted Wes is staying by any means but he is still a liability in an otherwise world class back four/five (inc VDS). New long term deal for Saha in the offing?

He is in the mid-level of earners at OT, and towards the bottom of that scale too, on around £55k. When you consider he has played more games than anyone else this season, and played well in them, in the main, it seems fair to me.

I will ask the question again, would you have any of the following ahead of Wes?

Senderos
Hoyte
Djourou
Traore
Song
Ben Haim
Belletti
Ferreira
Alex
Hyypia
Arbeloa
Finnan
Skrtel
Aurelio
Carragher

we'll win the league with Wes at right back & are three games from a CL success as well, if we win it & Nev is back, what's the problem?

If he was off, fair enough, go get something top drawer, but seeing as we're winning with him there & Gary is hopefully back for next season it's not an issue.

if you were look at things deeper than the surface the only thing thats really been impressive about wes this season has been his fitness.

i think its another "heinze" rating going on here.
