This.

Club has painted itself into a corner. They’re stuck to some silly notion that we’re doing things differently now and that ex player that ‘gets us’ is the way forward. We’ve tried the other ways, so this way must be right!

Add to the fact that they have no real ambition anymore and they’ll have to release funds for a new manager.

The last thing they’ll want to do is sack him.

It’ll take a few more losses and the players turning to force their hand, meanwhile we’ll have the odd false Dawn to keep us ticking over.

If he goes soon it’s true imo

Quality squad

Add a couple of midfielders

£#%&! Pogba, Martial and the rest of poison off

Hire an actual manager

We win the league within two seasons

Not sure if the tune yet, still working on it.

Well lads who’s watching motd tonight

Checking the final score at full time and being glad it’s only 5 nil in the end given we were 4 down at half time and I see that Pogba somehow got himself sent off

Cunning Scousers, give us a historic humiliation that we will never reciprocate but not going far enough that it’s certain Ole will be sacked

He needs to go now as he has no credibility left and this side deserves to at least be given a chance with some actual high level coaching however knowing our club I think he will somehow limb on with the decision makers at the club paralysed by indecision

Yep.

That starting line up should not be getting beat 5-0 by any team

And not just beaten but absolutely humiliated.

You think it will change overnight?

The club is a total mess, much more so than when he took over.

We have spent astonishing amounts of money, a lot of it on shite.

How will the next coach deal with Maguire and AWB who came in for £130m. Especially if we stupidly hand a new deal to maguire.

Look at the midfield we have and how unbalanced it is.

The squad has had so much money spent on it yet is such an unbalanced mess.

No one should be celebrating today Utd are in a very dark place.

At least Ole loved the club and had its best interests at heart.

What happens next is in the the hands of people who care nothing for football.

Squad is good in terms of individuals but unbalanced.

Some really high priced players on big wages who will be hard to shift

Imo we are still in for some tough years even if a new coach comes in tomorrow.

Mate, pipe down, it’s an Internet forum.

You are right and you’ve had dogs abuse but don’t go lording it up, any manager that comes in still has a rotten ownership that doesn’t reward ultimate success so to some extent it’s a phyrric victory.

Ole did a lot for us from where we were and though he’s out of his depth he deserves respect. As do the other posters, even if a lot of them didn’t give you any.

Too heavy on forwards and lacking midfielders or quality defenders.

It’s all out of kilter.

Whether Ole or the board bought in some of the dross will never be known.

Feared it could go up to 8 or 9 after Pogba got sent off, so small mercies and all that. Spurs next week should be... interesting. Have to hope Spurs do a Spurs and let us hammer them to try and claw back some GD. Can't see it based on today's performance mind.

Maguire can be good enough if coached properly.

AWB... not so much.

It could change instantly....

Get varane back with Maguire, drop AWB for Dalot, %@#$&! Shaw, drop Mcfred and unleash Donny....

We're some tactics and coaching away from a decent side....

Bring in one of the best strikers and defenders in the world and this, THIS is our standard, nah...

It's on the coaches...
