To think he still has his doubters.

He may not have set the world alight this season but you only have to see who consistently scores the important goals and there is always the same name. Carlitos Tevez.

people who watch him play - who see his workrate, and value his ability don't doubt him.

anyone who thinks he's not been top class this season is £#%&!ing daft!

and all this after 3 seasons without a rest... he will be frightening after a summer off!!

not half the player rooney is.

Add to that he is slower, can't striker a ball, is uglier, fatter.

Probably isn't 1/4th the player rooney and ronaldo are.

his goals tally would suggest otherwise.

it's not all about scoring goals, both tevez and rooney bring other important value to the team, but 18 goals so far in his first united season is

Lets see, gold is roughly 275 quid per ounce, Tevez is about 18 stone (without dummy) so:

275 x 4032 oz = 1,108,800 quid.

platinum maybe?

I've made a concious decision to not get involved in any of these purile 'Player A Vs Player B' threads anymore (particuarly as they're usually done with the sole purpose of slagging off Wayne Rooney)

All I can say is though, Tevez has missed some absolute sitters in recent games. Far easier chances than Rooney has missed.
Fortunately for Tevez he's also been in the right place at the right time to poke home a few late goals (& thank £#%&! he has too)

I can't understand why so many people on here hate Wayne Rooney. I just don't get it??
He's such a fantastic footballer.
If he was Argentinian of Portuguese he'd be untouchable (criticism wise)
