Abysmal second half. Should of scored two or three in the first. Passing was so poor.

Amad and elanga not so great. The intent comes from the forwards . However they are youngsters, give them a pass, lingard was dogshit absolute nothing of a player, same with AWB. The full backs didn’t bomb forward as much.

Lingard didn’t seem fussed

far too much just booting it up the air, especially from the lads at the back. The kids were never going to win 2nd balls and physical battles so we should have been keeping it on the floor.

Lingard and Wan Bissaka were a total disgrace, absolutely phoned it in the pair of them

Be surprised in Canvey Island could afford him anyway.

That’ll do.

Understandably ragged second half with all the kids, but some of the senior players didn’t do themselves any favours. Matic is full of errors, AWB looks terrified and like he knows his days are numbered and Mata and Donny didn’t impose themselves enough.

Lingard is a £#%&!ing little weasel and I can’t believe he didn’t leave in the summer.

Thought Amad looked decent, he’s a nice looking player and Mason’s finish was worth watching the whole game for.

Glad we didn’t lose to keep the momentum of this little run going and a nice rest for the senior players. I’m amazed we had the luxury to do that tonight. This was looking like a must win game for so much of this group phase.

The most annoying thing, he has a chance to shine or atleast play with an attitude to show the new manager. Unless he’s already off in Jan but really disappointing. I think elanga and amad were just out muscled most of the time which is expected as they are young players.

Lingard, AWB, shaw ,VDB and Greenwood all had the opportunity today to really show intent and try to break into the first team. Shaw wasn’t too bad greenwood took his goal well . VDB played bang average and lingard did his best cleverly impression and just ghosted the whole game

Enjoyed the first half hour. Got a bit messy after that but to be expected.

Usual suspects still having a moan, £#%&!ing hell. Not the easiest of conditions or circumstances to play as a youngster, when you look round you’d like to see some experience and composure, but instead you get AWB, Mata and Lingard ffs. Thought the kids all did well considering.

A disjointed mess for the most part
To be expected you might say but if the other top teams rest their best 11 and play two or 3 youngsters they don’t look anywhere near that bad

If we want to play the type of football Rangnick wants then a number of the squad needs to be moved on

We need much better midfield options as Mata and Matic look like they should have retired 2 or 3 years ago, what are they still doing at the club

AWB just needs to be quietly moved on in the summer (probably on loan)
It’s a joke Lingard wasn’t sold in the summer, his head is gone and he shouldn’t get anymore game time

Felt for some of the young lads like Elanga and Amad as that was a real struggle for them tonight

Best that can be said about tonight is that was a nice rest of our first choice players and we didn’t lose

Nothing to write home about, but will have given Ralf some insight into certain players which will hopefully help his decision making in the long run.

Some of them struggled, but that’s what these experiences are for. We had a the luxury to do it and no harm was done.

The senior players made Saturday’s selection a lot easier. I wouldn’t start a single one of them.

Nobody will remember this game in a week.

Now let’s go and @#%&! Norwich.
