QPR v Utd

- United have always been great at winning games ugly despite sucking, but this season they have been extremely great at it. The bottom-placed team is completely dominating here. I don't think you can say they're a poor team, but they'll probably be the most out-possessed, out-shot and out-passed team ever to win Premier League.

- I think what you are saying is, they can defend solidly when they need it most and they can get goals when they need them most. I know its simplistic, but thats all there is to football really.

- I'm not slating them though, rather admiring how good they are at it, and wondering how the hell it's possible.

- Corrupt refs

I think I read in like the last 8 games we've had a lot less possession than in the other games. Something like 49% average compared to like 58%, but we're being a lot more efficient with that possession. Today and the Everton game probably illustrate that point most of all.

£#%&! me, there will be a POSSESSION LEAGUE next. Mark my words. Liverpool will win it. If they don't, they'll introduce the RAWK PAR POSSESSION LEAGUE because passing sideways matters far more than even Ray Wilkins and Michael Carrick had ever realised.

seem to recall united are regularly recording the highest possession statistics in the league - certainly a lot more than that stumpy fraud has managed to achieve with the scouse.

Didn't see today's matches but my mate was saying that Mancs scored a lucky goal, a offside goal and QPR were robbed of 2 stonewall penalties. is it true?

Love the way they've completely fallen for Rodgers' bullshit about passing. Hey, all we have to do is pass the ball a lot and we'll automatically win!

The trick to longevity as a Liverpool manager is to get the supporters to accept a diet of something other than actual success, because no one is going to give them that. In the case of Rogers he is trying obscure language and misguided hope. So far so good.

As Brendan's previous team, I will fully support Swansea. Reckon they will HAVE TO pay tribute to BR if they win. They will be forever indebted to BR for this trophy.

- 5-0 to Swansea who we beat 5-0 last week. That means we'd beat Bradford 10-0.

Brian Durand:

"Thanks @kennethdalglish for great Carling Cup memories last year. A brilliant day / weekend. It's all about trophies!"

"The last time I saw a final like this it was at 40 mins into Istanbul 05. Just shows what an achievement that was by the mighty reds."
