"Wayne got the same knock as he got last week, straight on the hip bone,” said Ferguson.

"It takes a while for that to clear because when you get a bang on it, it’s very painful. I’m hopeful he will be alright for Tuesday's match against Barcelona.

"Other than that, I think everyone’s okay,"

Not so sure about that though. He hasn't looked fit since the Blackburn game imo, and won't be 100% on tuesday..

Sounds good.

Presumably that's Rooney on the right wing, Ronaldo on his own up front, with Tevez, Scholes, Hargreaves and Anderson as holding midfielders. Only problem is that it lacks Park running about a lot.

Fletch looked like a big game player today. Unleash him in the league.

Will Vidic be fitted out with his new teeth in time?

Talking of Rooneys injury and him running up and down the wing,

Fergie on waynes performance against Barca..

"Wayne sacrificed himself in Barcelona, he had no problem when I told him what I wanted from him."

Sacrificed himself to do what? Stop the mighty Abidal making attacking runs?

Stopping Abidal > Wayne attacking

"Although he didn't play to his normal standard, he'll be playing in a different position on Tuesday. You will see a different Wayne Rooney then, believe me."

Play him deeper Fergie.

Good news!

Right wing against Barca just didnt work at all. Left wing should be much better
