Thumbs up

Just seen it, really enjoyed it. Very funny dialogue and a touching story, and the ending is ace.

I thought it was genuinely a very good film, it showed everyday situations with a very good storyline. I’m glad there was not too much Eric, what was done was more than ample for the film.

Very good bit in the film is the Barca match in the pub. I have seen and heard that argument a few times.

My only bone of contention is the Manchester United fans that will portray themselves as FC fans to get a bit of egoistic publicity. Might be a good disclaimer on the next CD released.

Went to see it last night, surprised it wasn't more full to be honest but people will be giving it a wide birth cos they think it's all about Eric, which isn't the case so a lot won't see it IMO

Proper laugh out loud film, loads of good Mancunian humour - and Eric being in it just topped it off!! "It was a pass!" ...and what a £#%&!ing pass it was!!

Cheered me up re the Ronaldo saga no end, (there will only be one number 7 at United for me) and my missus who isn't even from round here was laughing her head off also.

Good solid story line with very real issues tackled. Thought it was top!

I haven't seen the film yet but isn't that bit a flashback to a coach returning from a United away game in the 90's or is he in it more than that?

He was not in it too much.

Deffo done now mate, the grey hair gave it away, and the FC United shirts etc.

He must have been gutted Eric did not sit beside him when he got on the coach.

The coach scene is a flashback, I remember Sam off here who was an extra starting a thread on it, and saying they were told to act like it was 1995.

Unlucky.
