Lingard chant.
But they’re right about one thing: I really just don’t understand. They deserve 6th.

Lingard having a chant is actually positive. Prefer that to the moody grumbling, or the booing that seems to have come back into fashion....

Dark times on the forum when previously calm customers like Hethro and 99ers are throwing insults at eachother.

We badly need to win at goodison tomorrow!

Leicester we played really well and should have won comfortably.

Burnley, bit of a freak, played ok, came back from 2-0 down, good spirit.

Soton yesterday, your typical average xmas period game where you feel all the game time in your legs. Should still have won that too.

Yet to see a truly alarming performance from us. Bristol kind of was but that can be explained easily.

We can't move on fully until more shit@#%&!s have been removed.

It simply isn't a Mourinho squad.

Correct. There’s only one song we should be singing right now and it’s ‘Not good enough.’ The only thing people like Lingard -and not only him- should be getting is a p45. This cannot be the new United standard. The moment we accept this it becomes our new reality. Right now we’re on the brink of doing exactly what we did last year but without the trophies to excuse it.

Did we learn nothing from Liverpool’s standards dropping from Souness, Hanson and Rush to Ruddock, Jimmy Carter and Paul Walsh? But yeah, sing us into oblivion... It’s £#%&!ing shit.

Incorrect.

This is not about Lingard, it’s about the Lingard standard. We accept it, we deserve it.

Mourinho magic saved us last season. 6th place was a disgraceful position, even considering us focusing on the europa for the last month and a half of the season.

If we end up outside of the top 4 then it will say something about Mou's waning powers perhaps but it will say a lot more about how bad this squad still is to finish behind some of the shambolic squads our rivals have.

Let's not think so negatively. We'll surely shape up. Bailly back from injury in a few weeks, Lukaku will find his confidence again. Mkhitaryan the same. Ideally a signing or two to boost us and increase competition.

But just can't get away from the same faces that have let us down for years still being around. They know who they are , you know who they are. You have some lads still defending them to this day. Sorry but mediocre wingers playing fullback for us speaks volumes about our defensive issues and lack of clear footballing plan.

eh? what standard is that? a player who dares to try. gotta sing about something. maybe he isn't a great one but he's put his head down and has scored a few. sang one for May.

jose has had loads of players quit on him (lingard hasn't). we've seen this from the players 3 times. moyes , LVG and now jose. it's time or we'll keep sliding down the table. from our new captain () to players who've had priors.

Yes. If ‘try’ is good enough these days then God bless you. Standard is not about how hard you try, it’s about how good you are and what you actually do. Van Gaal tried. Cleverley tried. Darron Gibson tried. You lower your standards so that the likes of those can meet them we are truly £#%&!ed.

I'm sure you'll have some excuse ready.

the fact is he is managing now. and he needs to pull his £#%&!ing finger out and stop whining about signings and referees. when he is doing his job properly, he will be in a position to complain about other people. it's his team selections and his tactics that are costing us and he needs to wake the £#%&! up to his own responsibility. so do you.

I like what he was trying to do, but it's unforgivable to buy 12 players and not have a team that looks like at least partly capable of achieving your plans.
