Default Football tonight 16 March 22

If anyone can stomach it Arse v the vermin is on Sky. Given we kind of need a favour from the verm, I won't be watching, just I was half watching the end of Mainz v Dortmund* and it popped up after.

I didn't think they were allowed show league matches on Champions League nights, I seem to remember our game against Burnleh or someone was embargoed ostensibly for that reason, but as usual one rule for United etc.

*shite game but late winner from Witsel

Straight out of The Football Factory, Chelsea £#%&!ers

Chelsea fans chanting 'Roman Abramovich' throw bottles at French riot police who respond with tear gas ahead of Champions League tie with Lille

Expecting a lot of goals, Arsenal won 5 in a row & Scousers 8 in the league. Last time two teams played with records of both having 5+ consecutive wins was when these two drew 4-4.

I’ve also got a fiver on the French police vs the Chelsea idiots.

Did you know it’s an Arsenal club tradition that the captain chooses long or short sleeves and the rest of the team have to wear the same.

Martinelli has “Trent” on toast. Scousers look a bit ordinary without Salah.

Arteta clearly has the Arsenal side well coached, quick passing and running hard. Not an amazing recipe but seemingly one well beyond a lot of sides.
