Question Who are the biggest club to have never won the European Cup/Champions League?

European obvs.

Spurs, Atletico, Roma and Arsenal off the top of my head.

Any more?

ah, the mysterious indices of big club-ness.

spurs are unquestionably quite large; one would face a fairly stiff walk if attempting to circumnavigate them.

roma on the other hand are the size of an average whale.

Are atletico really a big club? Weren't they a shambles for decades prior to simeone?

Spurs were never a big European club.
Arsenal & Roma maybe. Maybe.

They were a shambles but they've won the Uefa/Europa twice, the Cup Winners' Cup, been to the European Cup final three times. Spains third biggest club, with ten Liga titles. They're a big shout tbh.

From Wiki:
Tottenham were the first club in the 20th century to achieve the League and FA Cup Double, winning both competitions in the 1960–61 season. After successfully defending the FA Cup in 1962, in 1963 they became the first British club to win a UEFA club competition – the European Cup Winners' Cup.[4] In 1967, Spurs won the FA Cup for a third time in the 1960s. In the 1970s Tottenham won the League Cup on two occasions and were the inaugural winner of the UEFA Cup in 1972, becoming the first British club to win two different major European trophies.

I'd say back then, they were a big European side.

Easy. It's Arsenal. 13 league titles, 12 FA cups, cup winners cup, 20 odd years in the champions league, it really is astounding they've never won it.

Dynamo Kiev have to be a decent shout, given how big they were for how long.
