Watched Juve v Lyon, decent match, finished 1-1. Quite impressed with Tolisso in midfield for Lyon, box to box midfielder with a well rounded game, good technique allied to physical power, might be worth Utd looking at him if Schneiderlin does not pick up or for replacing Fellaini.

More importantly Rafael played very well.

Always been the case with Cheech if he is not scoring, the rest of his game is very average.

Spurs are on 4 points, Leverkusen 6 and Moncao 8, they could still sneak through.

Was there much fawning over tottenham pressing? Were they pressing high? Oh please tell me they were. Was "Poch" on the touchline? Revloutionising the mere act of standing on the touch line?

Tonight he can go home and compare notes with Klopp and Guardiola on another glorious night's revolutionising in the home of the English football neanderthals.

Funnily enough they weren't. You can't press if the opposition is happy for you to have the ball.

Spurs' performance reminded me of the worst days of LvG. I'm sure you've got the picture.

He does look like a good player and someone who would be suited to the premiership....... He'll end up at Arsenal IMO

That would be a good move for Arsenal, a significant upgrade on Elneny for instance, added to Xhaka, Cazorla and Ramsay they would have impressive options.

Priority for Utd is finding a replacement for Carrick in that critical defensive midfield role, very few out there who combine his reading of the game, positioning, and passing ability.
