if we are ever in the market for a bargain basement winger i reckon Dwight McNeil would be a good option. he’s a bit one dimensional but he’s got a helluva cross on him and decent pace on the counter

Do you watch Burnley a lot?

Should we be signing players because they’re better than Dan James? Or should we be signing them because we watch them think they’d be good for us. I think I’ve watched Burnley four or five tImes this season and never once thought “that McNeil player is good” never mind that we should sign him.

Pretty sure we’ve released McNeil once already.

Dan James has 5 goals in 15 appearances (a goal every 170 minutes) this season. Dwight McNeil has 6 goals in his entire life (a goal every 3 and a half years, or 1864800 minutes).

i’ve always liked him tbh he’s a bit of a throwback winger, gets to the byline and crosses the ball in really well.

and of course we should be aiming higher player wise but when we have someone like Dan James playing for us all bets are off
