I agree. Barcelona's finances aren't all they make themselves out to be though. They don't really want two Messi size wages on the books. By all accounts they are flapping a bit already about how they are going to pay his alone. Additionally putting Neymar on a reported 585k pw isn't really viable. May be why they've supposedly been sniffing around Dybala. Buy for half the Neymar fee, one third the wages, 100 mill in the bank. Back in Black.
This being increasingly touted as a real thing by PSG may have a lot to do with the Di Maria rumors gathering pace. They will certainly be looking to get rid of one or two high profile players if they are serious about landing Neymar and floating it past the FFP fiasco.

Paying that wage to keep one of the best players in the world is one thing. Paying it twice as Barca are looking at having to do, or shelling out nearly 200 million quid for the chance to then pay 152 mill on a five year pre-bonus wage, is quite another. There may well be some financial model/plan that makes circa 400 mill on one player for five years viable, I wouldn't know. It just doesn't look like anything sensible to me.
