Well, apart from Rooney

Thought that was him with Neymar after a sunbed session. Too much hair.

Not a chance United let this happen without trying themselves.

We can actually. The owners won't sanction it though because it will eat into their money

The release clause has been there since he signed his contract. If there was the slightest chance we would pay that Woodward would have done it already. I dare say that and paying him close to 600k a week on top is a little ridiculous, even for us.

Not if the message from the player was that he didn't want to move. Maybe something has changed.. personally think he'd be mad to leave Barca..

How much are Messi and Ronaldo on?

Even if we were to unearth the next world superstar, his agent will eventually be demanding that same sort of wage.

You believe we'd rather sell than break your notional wage limit?

i can't see this ending any other way than a bumper new contract. Bit of a coincidence that Messi just re-upped for 500k per week. This lot pull this shit every year -- the stooges are either PSG or us.

If he has his eyes set on the Ballon D'Or, he'll need to leave Barca to step out of Messi's shadow. Real would be a no because he'd be behind Ronaldo in their pecking order. Leaves us and PSG as the only clubs who would realistically be in for him.
