He's like Private Pyle now. The others will need to beat him into shape, and if that doesn't work.... suicide in the bogs.

Textbook.

Probably, they would improve most of the squads in the league.

Not really the point though is it, not particularly happy with Mourinho and his public statements on injured players, doubt it sits well in the dressing room. Easy to brush it aside when it is unpopular players.

It sort of galls when he then says we have to be nicer to Fellaini

I don't think it can be said that Smalling didn't get a chance.. or Jones for that matter. But out of the spotlight, allowed to play in the same position regularly, less onus put on them etc. They'll be good.

Indeed, can understand Shaw and Jones' reticence when it comes to rushing back from or playing injured given the last few years they've had. A bit unfair to put that pressure on them too, imo.

true

He literally 'bull in a china shopped' onto the Goodison pitch & took a massive shit on the 3pts we pretty much had in the bag.
..so Mourinho dedicates the next match to him

This idea that Jones is some sort of workshy malingerer Popped up this season because of Mourinho's public comments. Never been accused of it before, if anything he has been too brave and reckless physically. Mourinho being a dick, an inconsistent dick at that towards injured players is a recurring theme of his career.

Spot on. If anything, mourinho comes across as a bit of a bully doesn't he.

Maybe burgers, chips and his fat female arse put too much strain on his foot banjo strings.

Genuinely not convinced, Jones in particular is likely never going to be injury free now.

I remember when we had Keane and Giggs and the like, and we'd laugh at Arsenal's @#%&!. I think there was a motivational poster of Giggs giving Viera a dirty look saying there's no @#%&! in my team.

Wasn't that video posted in direct response to something disparaging Mou said about his fitness/application early on? He was doomed from the off...

Potentially yes. Ligaments can go because they're forced into an unnatural movement, possibly due to excess burger king induced weight.
