Turns out this was a smokescreen for a real signing, our 'value' one, this Danish goalie.

£17m according to Balague, crikey...

I guess we can afford to overpay a bit given how cheap we've gotten the likes of Chicharito and Smalling for.

He's just jumping on it tbf, just to say later he's been right for once.

Today's been a sad day for Tomasz Kuszczak, I don't think he's been the complete disaster some people have claimed, ok enough number 2 for us considering he'd start in most teams in the league. Better player than the likes of Almunia and Fabianski forexample.

He called Ronaldo to Madrid though.

Fair enough, it took him 4 years to make the correct prediction, but that's just a technicality.

I don't think many, if any, have said that . Just that he's number 2 material only and it seems that's not good enough for him. So seeya Tommy

All this apparent movement on the goalkeeper front seems to imply that Eddy Baby won't be continuing into next season.

This makes me sad

Atleti want to loan out Asenjo, so maybe they are preparing for De Geas exit by getting him to play consistently.

Could do a Top Five Van der Sar £#%&!-Ups but that'd be mean-spirited. I'll save it for the tribute thread when he retires so

There probably only are five.
