Sounds like a 'yes' to me

Update on my Qatar speculation I've been muttering about for a year or so.

Lots of speculation out there that the Qatari Royal Family are in talks to buy the club. As i've said before the people telling me this have no interest in football or wums

Gary Neville wrote in his Malta Times article (yes, it does exist) that when Rooney stated he was going to stay "The main thing is that after a difficult week the best outcome was reached for all parties, except perhaps Manchester City."

So I'm pretty sure he was approached, & for a short while even considered it because of what that @#%&!apotomus Stretford said to him. Fergie sorted him. The end.

I hope so. Maybe that’s why Fergie’s out there supporting their World Cup bid

As much as it would cost to buy the club and clear the debt, once done the club pays for itself. The owners would never have to cough up for a big signing, subsidise wages, or pay for ground expansion because United generates huge amounts of money.

They bought Harrods for £1.5billion earlier this year

Nah, again it just sounds like a cheeky dig in light of the rumours, rather than concrete proof.

Some more interesting info, looks like they are after Britains prized assets

Harrods owner Qatar Holding is in talks to add another clutch of trophy assets to its portfolio with a £1billion deal to buy the hotel group behind The Connaught, The Berkeley and Claridge's.
