Not going back to that. Season's uponus now, we've a decent squad that as long as Scholes and Giggs can stay fit and in form should challenge for the title. Lot of questions and doubts about others though.

Can we come up with a collective name for dunk, throb and borsuk please.

Look, there's no one in world football that could possibly improve the squad. But if there was (and there isn't), we couldn't fit them into the 25. Or they'd block the progression of all our great youngsters that've gone on loan. Everything's fine, the clubs in great shape. The Glazers are terrific owners.

Fergie reckons he's due back in Manchester in two weeks. "He's apparently been making decent progress" but he has "no idea" when he'll be fit to play. Sounded like he's written him off and they're just going through the motions with him.

Only because someone asked him why he didn't make the CL squad. Fergie more or less laughed at the idea of including him over someone else. "We can change it in January if he's here and able to play"
